If you are interested in workboats, there are all sorts of heavy workboats, tugs and barges on this site, all individually designed by Ian Darley and sometimes built by him too. He is a real expert in this subject - see the gallery pages for some of his designs.

RINA sets and maintains the educational standards that must be achieved by those wishing to become professional naval architects. RINA also publishes a range of technical journals, such as Ship & Boat International, as well as arranging conferences, including many on yachts and small craft.
