Thank you for visiting my web site.  I am an independent Naval Architect and Yacht Designer, based at Warsash by the River Hamble, close to the famous Solent yachting centres.

With over 40 years experience of designing sailing and power boats, backed by extensive academic and professional qualifications, I can offer a wide range of design, consultancy and technical services for custom new-build projects, production boats and vessel conversions, all at competitive prices.

Whether for oar, sail or power propulsion, boats from 1.5m to 35m can be designed with high quality CAD work, supported by computer analysis for performance prediction, strength, intact and damage stability.

I also specialise in providing technical advice on stability requirements including the production of CAD models and full stability booklets for MCA Codes, as well as stability assessments for RCD compliance. Project support is offered for restorations, experimental designs, replicas and historic ships of any size.
